The staff at the hotel were wonderful. The location is perfect and the rooms were clean and very nice. Having a balcony was a nice plus. I would highly recommend this hotel. Fresh squeezed orange juice in the morning was an unexpected surprise.
    Negative:
    Everything was wonderful

Location, location, location! As an Athens stopover it was an excellent choice – it allowed us quick and convenient access to the Acropolis and the Plaka district over 2 nights (one full day) between the ferry port and the airport. Great choice of restaurants just across the street for dinner and the rooftop breakfast was very pleasant, with a good variety of food. Room was clean but “tired”.
    Negative:
Room was very small and tired, and smelled of damp – we had to leave the A/C on to keep the room fresh. Bathroom was tiny, with sit-down type shower, but the towels were clean and were repaced daily.

THere were special touches such as flat screen tv’s, fresh orange juice and cooked breakfast as well as a well stocked mini-bar. The location was outstanding in the area of Plaka right near Monastiraki.

The location was excellent for the city of Athens.Ease of in reach of all the shops and transport and the ancient sites.Small and friendly. The view from the balcony was excellent.
    Negative:
Rather old and needs modernisation. The bathroom was quaint, but clean and well maintained. The beds were hard and the sheets too small.

The location was fantastic, but any hotel in the Plaka is in a great location. The breakfast was pretty good – eggs, breads, cheeses, cold meats, yogurt, hot chocolate, OJ
    Negative:
The shower was small even for a European hotel – it was 18″ square and the shower head was hand-held with no place to put it on the wall – you had to hold it the whole time. The water would randomly get hotter and colder.

The hotel was in a great location for visiting the main tourist sites in Athens – walking distance to the acropolis and other sites on the same ticket. Two blocks from major shopping and all types of places to eat. The staff was friendly and helpful. Despite the city location, the room was quiet at night. Truly a great budget place to stay (don’t expect luxury). Continental breakfast had a lot of variety and free WiFi was a plus.
    Negative:
Twin beds were a little small and hard, but we still slept soundly each night.
