The staff were superb. We were in Athens on the day of a major strike/protest demonstration. The guest relations person who is available in the breakfast room every morning, helped guests plan their day so as to avoid any problems. Rooms were very clean with adequate space. Tea and coffee is available in the lobby all day. Breakfast is plentiful with good choices. Front desk people were kind and helpful.
Negative:
The hotel doesn’t have a rooftop view of the Acropolis, but their sister hotel, the Plaka, does and one can access their rooftop and bar. Perhaps because they don’t have this facility, the hotel tries harder in other ways.
