When I arrived at the Adonis, I was a little surprised at the size of the room. I was expecting something a bit larger. As I settled in, it was a perfect fit. I also had a view of the Acropolis. The staff are phenomenal. I had accidentally booked at another Adonis hotel in Crete. A staff member took it upon himself to correct the mistake I made with Booking.com. This also says something for Booking.com that the reversed the charges. The internet is weak and goes on and off. The location just couldn’t be better. I recommend this hotel for location, price, and friendly, professional staff.

The internet was weak and not consistent throughout the hotel. My second room, faced a blank cement wall. That is not the fault of hotel, though. Nothing negative, really.

Excellent location. Very nice terrace with view of the Acropolis for rooms located on upper floors.
    Negative:
Extremely small rooms/bathrooms. Couldn’t swing a cat! Breakfast was relatively abysmal. Still, great value for money if you got the 45 euro a night deal.

The location of the hotel is very good – close to the shopping street Ermou and Plaka district (Akropolis). Also the Syntagma square and the bus station from/to the airport is but a step.
    Negative:
The wall in the room are too thin, sometimes you can hear what your neighbors discuss. If everyone speaks in corridor, you will hear it in your room. The bathroom is tiny, TV is an old, out of date device, no LCD display. Bur if you were coming to Athen not for staying in the hotel but with other targets, the hotel is good. One point else – the hotel doesnt accept bank cards, only cash payment.

A touch noisy could do with some soundproofing.
