Positive:
New hotel with stylish rooms, en suite baths, and good breakfasts. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The National Archeological Museum is only two blocks away. There are no restaurants in the immediate vicinity, but there are several good ones within easy walking distance. The only drawback is street noise. Highly recommended.
Positive:
Hotel Areos is a very new hotel, very modern, very up-to-date bathroom facilities including rain shower. The staff was wonderful. We had two days in Athens, one of which turned out to be election day, so all the sights (Acropolis, Agora, museums) were closed. Andreou was very helpful in suggesting other things for us to do that day, in suggesting restaurants in the area, in arranging a taxi to the bus station, etc. Also, Vasilika, who tended bar at night, suggested Greek liqueurs and was a delight. Breakfast included a wide selection and was quite good. Hotel is very close to National Archeological Museum. We would highly recommend this hotel.
Negative:
We actually stayed at the Hotel Areos twice on our trip — once to visit Athens and also the night before we flew out of Greece. The first room got quite a bit of street noise. The second room faced a different direction and was very quiet. The location was very convenient — three blocks to Metro — but slightly marginal, although we walked 4 or 5 blocks after dark to a restaurant twice with no problems.
Positive:
Belive me or not this hotel is more than your expectations , the important part of attraction of this hotel is the staffs , they are so kind and friendly and do what ever they can for making comfortable place for you. The hotel is so clean with prety design . if we travell to greece again we choose it with no doubt.

The hotel was clean, comfortable and the staff were friendly and eager to help. The shower was amazing! Not only was it large and luxurious, it had a semi-opaque wall which was fun with a playful partner…….
