Only lokation, not far from railway station and metro station.
    Negative:
    1. Very noisy – the hotel is located right on the highway 2. very poor breakfast 3. Only one room of 4 booked was available, the others were accommodated in another hotel.

Although technically a hostel category, this was a wonderful hotel in every sense. The manager wisely talked us into an almost no charge upgrade which made the room perfect. This was a charming, elaborately restored historical estblishment run by a sincere and helpful staff. My only suggestion would be to install deadbolt locks on every room.

Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable, well appointed rooms. Beautiful old building. Handy for rail travellers. Good links to centre. Good breakfast continually replenished. Excellent value for money. Would thoroughly recommend and will certainly stay again.

Price is one of the best. It looks great outside and on the hallways.
    Negative:
Scary neigbourhood with junkies, drog dealers and thiefs. We were advised several times to take care that in the area there are arround 25 people robbed per day. Non-working wiFi in rooms, worst breakfast ever had, no electricity in the morning (manager knew a day before but didn’t advised), dirty room, old furniture, noisy (thick windows), no elevator (older people will die till 4th floor carying bags)… Not advised at all!

Book this hotel if you want convenience, quiet and super value while seeing Athens. Plus it is a beautiful building, lovely rooms, balconies, and great ceilings. I stayed a few weeks prior at Aristotels hotel near Omonia Square then had an overnight here…wish I had been at Neos the whole time. Its right near a nice, uncrowded metro station with a grocery store right there. The family who run the hotel let me use there kitchen facilities any hour to eat food I bought from supermarket- even insisited on cutting up some extra veggies for me. Free computer/ internet use. Nice breakfast and lounge area with tv and couches. Sharing the bathroom facilities right outside your room is no hassle at all and worth the huge savings.

Close to the metro (approx. 200 m)
    Negative:
    1. Surroundings (located in the district where busses leave for Albania, Romania and other banana countries – respectively unsafe and noisy) 2. Facilities (no water in the toilet, everything very old). 3. Air conditioning (a must in Greece in summer) installed, but no remote control to turn it on:) No remote control for the tv as well.
